After many years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutritional consultant, and coach, Dr. Yores had seen and used every approach to weight-loss imaginable. After becoming a naturopathic doctor and after years of frustrated clients, he decided to research and develop a weight management protocol that would be safer and more effective than all the other programs available and get past all the pitfalls they have.

“Achieving a healthier body-composition requires a change in current lifestyle habits. In my experience as a doctor, trainer and father, I have come to understand that any lasting change requires positive feedback and reinforcement in a very timely manner. In the case of weight-loss, this feedback needs to be in the form of results.

If results are not achieved in a timely manner, patients are very likely to abandon the enthusiasm that started them on the program. Conversely, when patients get results, all their efforts and behavioural changes are reinforced and their enthusiasm is renewed.

Finally, when an appropriate body composition is achieved, patients experience greater energy, metabolic and immune function, and an improved self-image. If I can do this with every patient, I will be a better doctor.”

Phase 1: Rapid Results
With our program we can stimulate the body to break down fat faster than normal, releasing stored energy that the body uses at the rate of up to ¾ lbs of fat per day. The program involves a unique combination of an individualized low calorie, low carbohydrate diet of regular grocery store foods, counseling, education and vitamin and mineral supplements.

The individualized food list is derived by analyzing laboratory results from blood tests. Foods are chosen according to their suitability for your metabolism. We require you to come in at least 3 times a week for injections and to monitor your progress and health. There’s no guesswork involved. This aggressive approach requires our active and regular supervision.

Most importantly, the regimen maintains your metabolism and ensures that you lose only fatty tissue. Unlike other rapid weight loss programs - you will never lose essential muscle tissue, vital proteins, electrolytes, hair and bodily fluids.

The most dramatic feature of the program is the rate of weight loss. For example, taking off 80 pounds on a traditional low calorie diet usually takes at least a year. And only 3% who try actually succeed.

Most people give up long before that year lapses due to frustrating problems like hunger, cravings, headaches, and fatigue. This program prevents those problems and thus has a far greater rate of success.

Rest assured, we use no diet pills, appetite suppressants or any unproven or risky procedures. You will learn a great deal about nutrition and your body’s needs so you can control your weight and stay slim for life. Phase 2: Healthy and Active
The Healthy & Active metabolism program is an innovative nutritional program, aimed at boosting your metabolism. It's not another new diet with powders, medication or calorie counting. Healthy & Active optimizes your metabolism, harmonizes your hormone levels and activates your immune system. The result is an ideal body weight while also increasing your sense of well-being.

Following an extensive metabolic analysis (using results from 40 different blood values), and involving the blood group and data concerning eating habits and personal health, your own individual nutritional plan can be created with the goal of optimizing your metabolism.
